The Decade of NOTO Commemoration is the opening celebration of NOTO's 10 year anniversary. We will recount the early beginnings, highlight some key accomplishments, reveal the NOTO Quilt, fill the 2040 timecapsule, celebrate art and history with special exhibits at the NOTO Arts Center, interactive art activities in Redbud Park Pavillion and music by Chance Encounter! Celebrate with complimentary cookies, food trucks (TBA) and Kona Ice!
Don't miss out on the specials going on throughout the day at local NOTO business's and a stop by the Teeter Courtyard for a exclusive Rusty Haggles Reunion Market!

11:00 -9:00 NOTO Arts Center Redbud Community Room, Influences on NOTO: A Historical Review of North Topeka. Visit the exhibit of historic North Topeka dating back to the 1880's.
11:00-9:00 NOTO Arts Center Morris Gallery, "A Decade of Art" Silent Auction; Join us for this special exhibit as we welcome back NOTO's finest artists. This exhibit will showcase artwork from those who have shown in NOTO over the past 10 years. Art will be auctioned off via silent auction and artists will receive 50% of sales.
11:00-7:00 NOTO Arts Center Teeter Courtyard, Rusty Haggles Reunion; Long time NOTO antique shop Rusty Haggles will cosponsor an antique show in the Teeter Courtyard. Visit Jean and Hal Gardner, along with other vendors, for an eclectic collection of antiques, art, and crafts.
1:00-2:00 Redbud Park, Gospel Music with the Foster Family. Mike Foster and Family will entertain NOTO with a variety of Gospel Music at Redbud Park.
2:00-3:00 Redbud Park, Music by Reagan Zagan & Markland James; Colorful original avant-garde, acoustic/electric music with Psychedelic Northern Indian influences. Reagan Zagan and Markland James have been filling the streets of NOTO with their eclectic music for the last decade.
3:30-4:30 Redbud Park, Music by Topeka Big Band; Here to help make this celebration a BIG deal Topeka Big Band will once again entertain us with a variety of swing music from the 30's, 40's and 50's.
4:00-6:00 Redbud Park, Kona Ice; Free Kona Ice to the first 150 customers!
4:30-5:15 Redbud Park Kaw Valley Bank Stage; Commemorating a Decade of NOTO! Brief presentations by a few key individuals highlighting the founding of the arts and entertainment district, some of its challenges and a vision for the future. Come take part in the NOTO Quilt dedication, and fill up the NOTO 2040 time capsule!
5:30-6:30 Redbud Park Pavilion; Happy Birthday NOTO! After the “Happy Birthday” song, enjoy free cookies and art activities.
4:00-9:00 Redbud Park; Norsemen Brewery Food & Beer Garden, Purchase a selection of brats, burgers, dogs, and beer from Norsemen Brewery. Soft drinks will also be available for purchase.
6:00-9:00 Redbud Park, Music by Chance Encounters, Classic and modern rock from the 70’s to today!

10.14 11:30-1 PM NOTO Notables Q&A Luncheon! Join us for a conversation with accomplished NOTO Notables! Panelist will share how they were instrumental in the development of NOTO, the ups AND the downs, and how they forged their own path while helping to move a community vision forward. Sack lunch provided ; sandwich, chips, fruit/veggie, drink. Ticket prices $10, space is limited.
