Summer Concert Series

The NOTO Summer Concert Series is a celebration of music that strives to offer culturally rich experiences for the community through a diversity of genres and performers. In addition to regionally acclaimed bands, concerts feature a local emerging artist as the opening act. With the intentional focus on diverse music, the vibe of NOTO, and the intimacy of Redbud Park, these concerts are like none other in the community.

Severio Mancieri

 

Severio Mancieri is a traveling troubadour from Duluth, Minnesota. Currently traveling the midwest like a nomad in a Minivan. Born 3 months early and asthmatic, he’s been playing piano since 6 and guitar since 10. In the last three years, he’s done over 325 shows , has released an EP “Can I”, a music video to accompany it, and a full length album “A Thousand Feet From The Sun”. This is an artist you won’t want to miss.

Wendy Woo

 As Colorado’s music scene has exploded over the past few years, one of its mainstays has been Wendy Woo. Her energetic personality, musical skills, and spirited songwriting have made her a media and fan favorite. The Wendy Woo Band is a poly-ethnic, power pop, song-rock, 6 piece band with sweet vocal harmonies and shuddering grooves.

Wendy has performed at top venues across the country including the Fox Theater and Red Rocks in Colorado, the Bitter End and the Living Room in New York, the Hotel Cafe in Los Angles, the Bluebird Café in Nashville, Sweetwater in Mill Valley, and Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, Georgia.  Woo formed her own corporation, Woo Music. Through that she runs her own record label, publishing company, booking agency, and management company.

Based in Kansas City, Sunday Basement Boogie plays a mix of blues, rock, and funk music. The band is known for their high-energy live performances and soulful sound that keeps audiences dancing all night long. They have been making a name for themselves in the local music scene and have gained a loyal following of fans. Sunday Basement Boogie is made up of talented musicians who bring their unique styles and influences to create a sound that is all their own. This will be a fun night out with great high-energy music!

Mundo Nouvo

 

Fronted by vocalists Ramon Terrada, Jacque and Luc Apollon; this is the full-scale Mundo Nouvo.
Thirteen musicians make up this powerhouse unit that looks to stir your mind and hips. Songs include both classic Fania-era dance charts as well as originals that were inspired to tell the dance floor a story.With a three drummers, four horns, piano, bass, guitar and a lot of great singing this is a dynamic experience that can move anyone.

Ernest James Zydeco

 

Ernest James Zydeco is a Louisiana-based band from Kanas City that specializes in Zydeco music, a genre that combines elements of Creole, Cajun, and African American music styles. The band is led by frontman Ernest James, who is a talented accordion player and vocalist.

Known for their high-energy performances and infectious grooves that get audiences dancing and having a great time. Their music is a mix of traditional Zydeco tunes and original compositions that showcase their unique musical style.
