Round Up for Junior Leader Reader

This event will  celebrate the start United Way’s next Junior Leader Reader round of readings that start May 8th. We will also announce the United Way of Kaw Valley Young Leader Society’s’ (YLS) partnership with Paper June and our program “Round Up for JLR”. Paper June  starting May 5^th they will ask customers if they would like to round up their purchase to the next dollar amount until the end of August. The proceeds will be donated to the Junior Leader Reader program to purchase more books for children.

Since the inception of this program in 2010 the Junior Leader Reader (JLR) program has given out over 51,000 books to children in our community through donations and sponsorships. These books go to kids that otherwise might not be able to have books of their own at home.
