NOTO in Bloom is a benefit for the NOTO Arts and Entertainment District endowment. This unique event celebrates the best of NOTO – the art, the food, the experience – and its impact on the community. The benefit event offers those who value NOTO a fun and innovative opportunity to support its long-term financial standing.

The Redbud Festival celebrates the arrival of spring with the beauty of nature, the arts, and commerce in NOTO. In addition to the start of the annual music series in Redbud Park and NOTO Saturday Markets, the Redbud Festival features special events and presentations.

Pavilion Theater – The Pavilion at Redbud Park becomes an intimate theater for two weekends of the festival.

April 9, 7:00PM The Senior Class, NOTO Welcomes this funny improv group to the stage with a special NOTO Celebrity Guest TBA. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door

April 10, 2:00 PM Grace Readers’ Theater, Grace Reader’s Theatre will re-create two scripts from old time radio, complete with live sound effects. The program will consist two half hour programs, one drama and one comedy.

April 30, 7:00 PM The Astonishing Curits Sneden will amaze audiences with his unique brand of smart magic. This thought-provoking presentation on the untold powers of the human mind is designed especially for adult audiences. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

May 1, 2:00 PM The Astonishing Curits Sneden will amaze and amuse audiences of all ages with his engaging personal story of life as a mystery performer. This event is appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

Nature in Art Workshops –April 6, 13, 20, 27 6:00-7:30 These free to the public workshops will introduce Kansas Nature through art exploration, appropriate for anyone who desires to combine their artistic talents with their love of the nature.

April 6: Introduction to Color Transfer Pressing by Kathy Pflaum

April 13: Using Native Materials Through Art by Lisa Larue-Baker

April 20: Introduction to Felting by Kathy Pflaum

April 27: Fabric Dyeing Using Natural Materials by Betsy Knabe-Roe

Arts and Antiques: NOTO Show and Tell – April 9, 16, 30, and May 7 11:30-12:30 NOTO experts will share the secrets of their art, antiques or specialties in free presentations and demonstrations for four consecutive Saturdays starting April 9.

Redbud Blues Concert – April 15, 6:00-8:30 Ellie Smith and Ryan Verthein This third Friday concert is FREE to the public, bring a lawn chair and your friends! * No alcohol is permitted on park grounds.

NOTO Chalk Walk – May First Friday Weekend, This annual chalk walk event is one for all ages. Come down to the district and decorate the sidewalks with your own masterpieces.
